Nerdie Technologies did not start as a brand strategy. It started as a question: why do people throw away things that still work?
Mister Nerdie in 2017 as a one-person smartphone repair operation. The business grew, and with it came a recurring observation: parts coming out of repaired phones were often still functional. Batteries from vape devices being discarded had 80% of their capacity intact. Materials written off as waste were, in fact, materials.
That observation became the design principle behind every NERDIE TECH. product. The wireless charging mat is covered in leather because leather lasts decades. The powerbanks run on salvaged cells because 80% of original capacity is more than enough. The plastic enclosures come from Upcycled by Fuze Ecoteer because their recycled material is genuinely distinctive.
